The following terms and conditions apply to the use of, and orders placed on the www.jeniallison.co.uk website. By placing an order with Jeni Allison you will of deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Jeni Allison.
Orders & Payment
Our accessories and garments are knitted in small batches, making them limited edition. All items are sold on a first come, first served basis. If you have placed an order for a product which has sold out we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know when one will be available for you.
Payment for orders made on our online store are accepted via Stripe and Paypal. Once you have placed an order with us you should receive an order confirmation detailing the items purchased and delivery address entered.
We reserve the right to refuse an order when we cannot obtain a payment , there has been a pricing or product description error.
Information we may collect
The personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address when placing an order with us will be used to process your order. We may use this to contact you if there is a problem with your order. We will never sell any of your personal data to any third party.
What are PCI DSS?
PCI DSS stands for the Payment Cards Industry Data Security Standards. The PCI is an organisation made up of major card companies like Visa, Mastercard, JCB and American Express. These new international standards are designed to improve the security of card payments and reduce fraud. Squarespace’s payment processor, Stripe, is PCI compliant. Jeni Allison uses Stripe to provide card transaction services and Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. For further reassurance please read Stripe’s Security statement.
Security of information / data storage
Jeni Allison’s online shop is hosted by Squarespace, alongside our site we use Stripe and PayPal to enable card transactions. Stripe provides the technical, fraud prevention, and banking infrastructure required to operate our on-line payment systems. Squarespace and Stripe provide us with the online services that allows us to sell our products to you. Squarespace and Stripe store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. Your address and email address is sent to us so that we can complete your order, we have no access to any of your payment card details.
All prices quoted on our website are in pounds sterling. Please remember that your order will become legally binding as soon as we have accepted it and will not be dispatched until we have received payment in full. Prices and availability of item(s) and postage are subject to change without prior notice. If you wish to add products to your order, change your delivery address, remove items from your order or cancel it completely, please contact us as soon as possible at jeni@jeniallison.co.uk. Packages returned to us that need to be sent out again will incur another postage charge.
Delivery – UK Customers
Providing your item is in stock we aim to dispatch it to you to you within 5 working days (please note Weekends and UK Bank Holidays are not considered working days). Our usual shipping cost is calculated once you add the product to your shopping cart.
Deliveries will require a signature on acceptance. If you or someone on your behalf is not able to sign for the delivery, the courier may leave a card to arrange a re-delivery at a suitable time. Some missed deliveries may need to be collected or rescheduled by you. Please ensure you collect or re arrange delivery within the time stipulated on the delivery note, as Jeni Allison reserves right to re-charge postage on items that are returned to us.
Increases in seasonal demand, for example the run up to Christmas and factors beyond our control, might occasionally result in longer delivery times. We will endeavour to inform you of any such situation to avoid disappointment.
Overseas Shipping and Tax
We currently only ship within the UK but are hoping to ship internationally soon.
Cancellations & Returns
We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase from Jeni Allison however if for any reason you are not then please get in touch in the first instance and we will try to resolve the issue. Returned goods should be sent to us within 14 days of receipt of our delivery, provided they are returned with their labels on, in the original packaging and undamaged. All parcels that are sent back are done so at the customer’s own risk, therefore we would advise using special delivery as the parcel is not our responsibility until we sign for it.
A full refund will be made to the original purchaser, less postage. This will be made via the original method of payment within 30 days providing the goods are returned in a sale-able condition. Please email us ahead of sending any goods back at jeni@jeniallison.co.uk so we know to expect them and can send you a returns address.
