Workshops for Organisations

I have devised and delivered participatory art programmes and workshops for lots of different people including, 

  • Children (aged 0-16) and their grown ups

  • Students

  • Adults

  • Care home residents

  • People living with long term health conditions including long Covid

  • Hospital patients

  • Young parents community groups

  • High school teachers.

I am currently employed part time by Art in Healthcare leading a participatory art project with people who cannot access cultural spaces due to long term health conditions. I am also leading a series of embroidery workshops with Macmillan.

I have previously worked as a learning coordinator at National Galleries of Scotland (families and communities programme) and Arts educator at the Whitworth Art Gallery and Manchester Museum (families and arts for health programmes). 

I have delivered participatory art projects in a freelance capacity for Starcatchers, Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, Craft Scotland, Grampian Hospital Arts Trust, stepping stones and Edinburgh Art Festival amongst others.

Workshops for Adults and Children

You can book me to run a workshop for adults or children (ages 2-16). I can come to your home / venue or host the workshop at my studio Midlothian.

I can offer workshops in a variety of techniques including:

  • drawing

  • painting

  • textiles (weaving, knitting, embroidery)

  • printing (lino, monotype and monoprint)

  • children’s parties

If you have any other ideas of things you’d like to try get in touch and we’ll work out a plan!

Workshops typically last 2 hours and cost £25 per adult (minimum 4 people) or £15 per child (minimum 6 people). All materials are provided.
